I remember the BBC saying it was going to be a barbaque summer and a mild winter.
They didnt seem to get that right
-
Take each day as it comes, the weatherman may be right, may be wrong. You might get the tail end or the brunt of it. Who knows
-
our snow just cleared fri/sat and that was it for 4 weeks solid
-
Lovely! I could do with a few more days off.

snow last year and a lot of snow this year, this
could become the new winter trend after the mild
winters we have had over the last ten to 15 yrs.
might be a good idea for some of the girlies
on here to leave window cleaning an find something
else to do.
more for me its something to think about ;D ;D ;D

It certainly will shake some of the apples out of the tree.

I imagine alot of us will take a fresh look at how we work....
Remember when we get the flame wars when someone says they work in the rain?...cowboy, unprofessional, needy, desperate are some of the words that some choose to use.
This current winter has really driven it home to me that around 44 to 46 weeks work a year is my potential work year...anything more is a bonus but not to be relied upon....earn, taxes, live and save.
So if it snows..so be it...but whilst it does annoy me...it'll not stop me paying my bills and living the same lifestyle as when I am earning..
Now is the time to think very deeply about work and no-work,
Cheers
Dave.

Good post there Pingu, has got me planning out my next winter.
-
but not TOO deeply, not on a foggy monday morning in january
-
It got me working last week in some miserable damp conditions that previously would have had me heading for home.
-
I think I'll get back to work slowly...so back to work next Monday....I don't want to rush into anything mind ;D
-
As they say, every cloud has a silver lining.......or is it a snow lining ??? ;D
The weather will do what it will do, you can't change it, so have to live with it...keep smiling and don't get stressed.
