Title: baffled water tank?

Fed up with wheeley bin and want a baffled water tank.The wheely is ok sizewise as i use custys water,it is just getting on my nerves having to wait for it to fill before each job then having to empty it at the end of each job to save flooding the van.With a tank i could keep it full after each job ready for the next one.
                                                                                       What size tank will be the best purchase?I don`t want to take too much room up in the van but want it big enough to not be getting sucked dry every 15 minutes.How many litres does a wheeley bin hold as this size fits my van nice.cheers Dan

i got two 1000 ltrs tanks from a place over the road from you.one in the van for when am washing and the other down the side of the house for rain water.

The standard size bin is 240 litres

ive got a 600ltr ibc in the van for pressure washing not baffled i
travel with it 1/4 or full defo not in-between never run out on a job
yet even with poor custy supply
you could baffle it yourself easy enough

Think 250 will do.Don`t want to cramp van.Theres a place in Wigan with them ,Think they are about £125- £150,thanks Dan

Thanks,i will try and chip the wigan dealer plus save on the delivery.do these tanks come with outlets or can you connect the same ones used on the wheeley bin set up.

could you please tell us who the person is in wigan with the baffled tanks. I am after a 650L and live in wigan so could pick us and like you say save on delivery

Baffled tank definitely better. I have a Prochem set up with a long tank down one side, un-baffled, the water slams up and down it enough to knock the lids off sometimes. Watch your weight, though - 500l. of water weighs 500kg = 1100 lb, or half-a-ton! Don't want to run foul of VOSA or anything, plus if you have a prang overweight your insurance is stuffed....

Prob only drive with a little water in it as i will turn supply off near end of job,the wheeky bin is a pain as you can`t leave 6 inches in without driveing away and soaking the van,thanks dan
