Title: control valve for 6mm pole hose.

trying to find a good control valve to fit onto my 6mm pole hose.

gardiners have one but fits their pole hose which is 8mm and it wouldnt be tight enough.

i have the new brodex hydra poles

any help would be great.

Thats interesting because I got one from them for 6mm.

Have you tried phoning them?

oh. i just phoned them before this post and thet tried using one valve on 6mm hose and said it wouldnt work.

there is two on the site, which one do you have mate?

Have you tried Pure Freedom?

I have the hydra pole and bought one from ebay, they send you the right connector for the size of hose you have.

It fits to the pole using velcro, nice neat piece of kit.

pure freedom £24.99 for a pole holder they got to be joking lol ripoff .

Fully extend your pole then leave another 3ft or so of hose. Then cut the hose and attach the valve between the two ends. Then you fix it to the pole with the velcro strap. If you leave it a bit loose then it slides up and down so you can get it just where you want it.

Im not sure, i havent recieved the poles yet but its the brodex hydra poles

Thanks for your help, doesnt that cause a loop in the pole hose? doesnt that get in the way?

Yes it does cause a loop but once you're used to working with it it's fine.

I'm used to it anyway as I have a trigger fitted to another pole.

ok thanks for the advice. ill give them a bell on monday and order one.

did you pay £20 like the ebay price? on pf site its £15 plus vat.

any cons to fitting one of these?
