Post by: suffolkclean on January 13, 2010, 05:39:23 pm
We're looking for a used hard floor scrubber & have been offered a Nilfisk 421a has anyone used this machine on hard floors? do you recommend? the machine seems quite heavy? Any comments would be appreciated.

Hi Barbara, not too familiar with that model, however from what i have seen
they are strong well made machines, have seen them in the Nilfisk factory in my town.
I used one once on their canteen floor, i liked the weight (heavyish) which gave it a good bite on the floor.

Had srubber driers etc off them and never let me down.

Hope this helps.

Top machine for hard floors imo, assuming it has a tank?
As long as it doesn't make horrible noises and the handle mechanism doesn't slip it should last forever.
Spares are expensive though.
This is the same machine Tex sell for bonnet cleaning.
Cheers
Chris

Fantastic machines, we have about 20 of them , as on a contract that we are only allowed to use double insulted machines. A couple are 20 years old & still going great.
How much are you paying, if you dont mind me asking ?
