Done 8 biggish ones, was lovely warm, except for the last hour, which turned bitterly cold due to the wind.

Magic words are Sealskins winter gloves, and moonboots, couldn't have done without them.

Was actually really nice being back out again. Didn't have to use salt either. Came back home, and pipes that were laying in the garden were frost freeish as well. Plugged the van in, and away it fills.

1st day back for me aswell except for the hour or more last week since Dec 23rd. Not quite got my full hours in but did 4 1/2 hours. 19 calls. I even got me ladders out !
Could be another dodgy day tomorrow aswell before the thaw on Thursday n Friday.
Fingers crossed from next week we can all crack on ... :P

today also.Left reels in house overnight to thaw.Re fitted pumps etc this morning. The Tank was a block but i got just enough dribble out to fire the heater onto full and run back into the tank for about twenty mins before i set off for the first house.

Later the 20m ibc hose didn't want to help, again a dribble, then a trickle, and finally a gush.Took 4040 back out to shed.

Canterbury

Good day's work today.  About 8" of snow around all the properties but just above freezing.

Three conservatories and a batch of bungalows.

I soon warmed up and just kept going but heavy work plodding through the snow.  The trolley acted as a snow plough - should have charged extra  ;D

Planning to be out again tomorrow - lots of catching up to do after my longest Christmas break for over 40 years.
