Although the bad weather has made the start of 2010 very difficult for many if not all window cleaners in the UK, I have a feeling those that survive will end up seeing it as a good start.
I think once we are able to get out and work again, (for me that’s today) I think we will all work much harder and more efficiently in order to make up lost time.
I don’t believe in New Year resolutions but I am a firm believer in habits, a habit takes around 30 days to form, so if we keep up the recovery pace out of necessity it will end up becoming normal practice and we will reap the rewards in the months to come.

let me know how it went in 30 days time ;D

What it will do is make a lot of people more inclined to put some money by for bad weather or sickness.
A lot of window cleaners have had an "easy come, easy go" attitude to money in the past. This present cold spell has hopefully been a bit of a lesson.

i dont agree with jack that we,ll make up for lost time!its disappeared into the ether!forever lost! ::)
it has been a bad start(ive made £12 this year!) ::)but maybe itll make some of us build better businesses and get us to manage our money better in future.
im ok as ive got a fairly good business with v.low overheads(trad only) and im much better at managing money these days than i was a few years ago!im running a bit low now though and just want to make a start!its impossible at the moment today again!! ::)
