Hi mate i have just spoken to my mate at fords, he said the main cranking battery is the one nearest the foot well (the first one) Hope this helps.But this is very important you must put a in line fuse in to what you are fitting. Regards Steve c

The built in split charger works fine, need to sell my smart charger that ive bought now
