Title: Best wet and dry vacuum
Post by: angela stone on January 07, 2010, 09:00:10 pm
Hi guys,

The staff have just blown up a henry hoover today by vacuuming soaking mats in an office!

Does anyone have any recommendations on the best wet and dry hoover?

Thanks

Ange

Hi

I agree the best Wet and Dry are Numatics - good value and never let me down.

I attach a link - http://www.numatic.co.uk/products3.aspx?r=6&sr=5

I am sure others may be other preferences - but Numatic WVs would be my choice.

Nick

Not for office mats but these are proper wet vacs

Used one of these on Monday to clean an oil store bund which was full of oil, grease, water and leaves -

It really annoys me when vacuum cleaners are referred to as "Hoovers" as I find it unprofessional. Hoover is a company brand name.

Returning to your question. Yes I would agree with the recommendation of Numatic. They are cheap and cheerful and the motors are easily changed when needed. NB be careful of second hand as they get abused easily.
