Title: inverters god hope it works

s just got aick of frozen gear in van use both wfp and trad read lots of post on heating van just got an inverter to power a small heater in van tryied it with my battery which is low on volts got 5 mins out off it ordered 110 amp deep cycle battery this should work well let you know  keep warm   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  its going to stay cold for a long time

  An inverter powering any sort off heater element is going to flatten a battery in double quick time.

  Sorry to tell you this, but I think you have wasted your money.

thats got to be a hell of an invertor to run a heater. you can work out how long it will last. you need to calculatethe ampage then if you got a 110amp hour battery you can see how many hours it will last.
i think its not going to make it till morning.  if your invetor is not powerfull enough its going to kill it

12 V heaters are rubbish, they do not work

12 V inverters powering anything 240 V and chucking out heat will eat the battery really quick ( and i mean that )

if you can, cancel the 110 V battery order, its not going to work for what you want it for
