hi mat how robust is the suction tube on the polar vak machines. Do you use one of these on a regular basis? Basically would you recomend them nearly bought one today. Are they easy to use? ???any info be helpful

Yes they are very easy to use, I helped vak 100's of metres of guttering just before Christmas and it was relatively easy.
The hose is very robust, but I wouldn't allow any vehicles to run over it.
if you get one, ask Craig for the gutter agitator, you will need this to loosen up the compact dirt.
I can clear the guttering of a 3 bed semi in about 1 hour. not bad when I charge £5 per metre just to clear the insides.
Craig at CT east (Polarbrite) will look after you. they have very good after service too.
any more questions just ask.

yea thats the company i spoke to they are doing a good deal at the moment. Do you use an extention lead with it or has it a long power cable? Do you still get up there and check after vacuuming? How many times do you have to empty machine per clean? So you rekon 30mins each side seems quite a long time to vacuum a gutter? I rekon id be looking at £20 per side £25 at a push.

I use a 30 metre extension with a water proof socket and a thermal cut off.
I use a camera to check it afterwards, when I charge nearly £100 for a 3 bedsemi I don't think the customer would be too happy if I did it in half hour lol
