its beautiful skys down swansea, but had to borrow two kettles off two custies, to defrost pipes, nightmare, at least we got half a day in, salted after too, ! remember dont turn off your pipes just keep them running or they may freeze! i was thinking of taking my geny to boil kettles in case it happens again, what would you guys do?

Something I'm gonna try tomorrow instead of washing windows is knocking on some non customers doors and asking if they'd like their paths cleared. 20 minutes max per house, unless of course they offer to pay me £40 an hour and I'll stay till it gets dark!   ;D ;D

I'll tell them that I can't clean any windows, but want to keep active and help the community. Hopefully they'll remember me and give me a phone to get their windows cleaned - I'll be sure to give them my card! Nothing ventured, nothing gained, and at least someone will get the benefit of my labour and I'll park the van outside for a bit of 'free' advertising!   :P

Outstanding, good for your pluck. we all struggle, but I would prefer to get paid my normal rate even if its down, than clear paths. oh and yesterday I cleaned some almshouses paths for nowt, my calf muscles are still suffering.
With another week of this forecast we have to try.
