im just about to buy a merlin ro unit anybody else purchased one and what else will i need for it ie membranes?extra filters

You will definatly need a DI tank and depending on your local water pressure a pump may be needed.And again depending on your local water quality an extra pre filter may be required.

Merlin RO is an excellent piece of kit. Makes nearly pure water on demand (but with a lot of waste). Easy to set up and looks the business!!

Been using one for almost three months.  No problems so far. Good investmeny.
