Looks like my garden Mike. I have the whole family home too - my wife's school is shut and so are the kids schools.

My kids school is open today, much to their disgust. They just checked the website, they had made their plans for having a day off.
My wife is already at work, she made it in no trouble, she said the roads were clear. More snow forcast later in the day though

"OVER" a foot of snow here in Hawick in the Borders  :o

I went to my bed last night and a couple of inches had falling, all schools are shut, no buses running, main A roads in and out of town closed, many shops and businesses not opening.

I think I'll not be going out then  :o

Just over an inch where i am in surrey. I'm going for it. Looking forward to it in a peverse kinda way. Won't be saying that once i'm out, i know, but like i said yesterday, when my backs against it, i come out fighting more than usual. Strange cos i'm fundamentally a lazy git  ;D
