Do you have one ? I have one and great in this weather as makes job easy suck up ice and pull ;D
-
are they operated by mains power? The tubes dont look that wide can they really vac up all the waste that gutters hold. big clumps of weeds and moss etc. Im guessing concrete and broken tiles is a losing battle with one of these?

you can get 2 types a legal 110v one and a 240v one, not meant to use 240v on commercial work as as your not using it on your own house all the time it is classed as commercail use. so if your getting one get a generator or a very good cut off switch if 240v
-
I have a 240v and use an RCD extention leed for safe cut out but you have to remeber to completely unwind all the cable out otherwise it will get red hot and cut out
this happend to me and it needed 10 mins to cool down before I could operate again

110 is only required if working on a building site! not residential houses.
Mobile hair dressers dont use 110v hair clippers and hair dryers do they? and they are using those appliances for commercial use!
-
My hairdresser always brings her generater with her and sets it up in the kitchen. Kills the conversation though and stiinks the house out.

Good bit of kit, no good in this weather, and just had to send the recorder unit back to be tested because the camera was zapping the life out of the recorder in half an hour but a small problem.
I think if you market it right it will pay for it self!

I would not expect a mobile hair dresser to go on a site to cut peoples hair nor would I think they would use a hair dryer in the rain, well maybe if they have a cheaper so called gutter sucker :)
-
The whole point of using 110v is for safety reasons. If you had any sense then 110v is the way to go used commercially or domestically.

Matt- your (gutter) before and after photos on your web site look good.
Windowwasher, most wet/dry vac's are water proof, because when guys are using them for flood/floor work they are often in very wet environments, all though as i,ve said before be cautious when using 230-240v, but is not illegal to use.
