its hard to part with alot of money when buying a cleaning round as your thinking am i going get ripped off so what would you experienced guys recommend doing when buying a round im supposed be buying a round tomorrow £2500 for 108 customers and £635 pm

sounds like a good deal they mate :) make sure he shows you around the round and introduces you to all the custies personally ;D

make sure he knows the round. takes you round personally etc ask the custmers questions. make sure you pick which customers to speak too.... as your buying the rounds dont be shy , ask all the questions you want - its your money you are parting with .....

Huh? average price under £6, and buying at five times value?
Are these houses all in the same street? how many could you do in an hour? How long has this work been serviced?
You fella's telling him what a great deal it is must be pretty clued up.

Just did the same as slump, the price average is about £5.90 youd be mad to buy it, well thats my opinion any way

he been doing it few years its part of his round that he selling,got to much he said,said it can be done in 7 days if you want 15 houses a day so didnt sound like a bad deal and i could carry on with my canvassing in spare time

plus think it is 4x value not 5x and where i live £6 is about right for standard house i could always put prices up on the ones i think are underpriced once iv canvassed more customers in say 6 months then if they dont like it drop em,
seems as tho loads of people after window rounds now so anyone would be lucky get a round for 3x

I bought a round of £950 of work a month recently for £2k so bargains are still there to be had.I would try to beat him down a bit if I was you.£2000 is hard to turn down if it's wafted under your nose in cash.If you do go for it make sure you are happy with the deal.With the chap I bought from I picked 10 customers at random from his books and went round personally to speak to them.He dropped a note off to every customer notifying them of the takeover and I did likewise introducing myself.

iv just bought a round m8 off fleebay only cost me 2x value i worked the round with the chap b4 xmas and handed a letter over to every custy telling them i was taking over in jan and then did i only part with my money i also went to the chaps house for the first meeting.so b4 u part with cash m8 work the round with the chap on the hand over period dont pay till u have dun it if u are unsure if u want the hand over letter just email me and i will send it. u would just after change names and address on it

108 houses thats should be 3 easy days work for 1 man if its compact so 600+ pounds for 3 days work isnt too bad its a lot more than you can earn in a lot of jobs just make sure you meet all the customers and dont be afraid to ask questions good luck ;D

36 houses a day 1 man, you joking, they must be seriously small houses

I've not been cleaning as long as some on here but 35 houses a day doesn't sound like an easy day to me,sounds like bloody hard slog.Even if it's reasonably compact and fronts only.Might be all round cleans for all we know,some people price crazily cheap.

You said it right there .... it can be done in seven days..... £635 worth of work that can be done in seven days.........
And you are buying the right to do this at £2,500. Good luck.

under a £100 a day id go back to my old job and at least i could still work when its snowing or raining

Ive just this minute got off the phone to a bloke asking me if interested in buying his round, it takes £40 a hour, takes 2 blokes 4 days and earns £1400 a time, just need to find £5k, any offers of a loan ;)

36 houses a day is easy work semi's or detached be done for 2pm its only 6 an hour average price for a semi where i live is £7.00 me and lad do 60 houses a day no probs ;D
