Thought it was, that's why i asked if you changed your name.
Not too bad jus this bloody weather >:(
Haven't worked since the 11th Dec as i slipped on some decking & did my back in.
Lots of cracking & twisting with the Osteopath & i'm back to normal now.
How about you?

Sorry to hear of your accident. Hope you've fully recovered. Osteopaths are brilliant at working wonders.

I've been busy up until 22 Dec then had to call it a day owing to trecherous icy roads. Started back this Monday and managed yesterday afternoon (Tues) as roads to icy in the morning to be working in public areas. Day off tomorrow owing to snow and ice ;D

Happiest picking up commercial and larger domestic work in rural areas off the sat nav maps  :) I clean a lot of places right out in the countryside down some of the smallest country lanes that are almost impossible to find (no signposts) so less chance of competition from other w/c's. Downside is that some of these roads are cut off from civilisation when roads are bad with ice.

I'm supposed to be over Denbury tomorrow, but not sure on roads. Couldn't get van out just before christmas because of ice. I put salt down tonight but just been out and checked and it has started to freeze, so god knows what it will be like in morning ???
Could do with not having anymore time off.

Wait until the roads are busy with rush hour traffic so they find the really icy spots instead of you to minimise an accident.

I'm not bothered about the snow, just the ice.

If the ice clears up I might venture out lunch time. Gonna have a very long lie in bed later, might pop my head out the window for a weather check ;D

Hi Craig.

I may have to re-locate there, and was wondering what to work situation is around there.

Is there room for more work, without treading toes?

All the best

Marc

As far a look at it there is plenty of work wherever you go.

There is quite a few WC's around here that look at it as their patch and have had hassle off a few. Even had messages left on the answer machine that my young daughter heard, which i wasn't happy about.
Thing is with this type of cleaner is they are obviously worried, but if they are doing a good job it won't be a problem to them.

There are quite a few around here, one of them been an ex-customer of mine who tried to underprice me and even copied my website word for word.
There have been others who have told my some of my customers that i have given up due to me breaking both my wrists.
I even got the number for one of them and left a message asking if he wanted to see how broken my wrists were.

End of the day you will probably find getting work is no different to where you are!

Why might have you to relocate? You not been trying to pinch work have you ;D
