if you get on the pitch you can low pressure wash it off downwards.  if you blast it up you will loossen the tiles.

this is the dogs bollox!!  think im investing.  you can use a roof ladder to get onto the pitch then use this to clean the roof   :D

moss killer sprayed on with a pump sprayer. you will need a ladder and roof ladder.

the thing is mark once the moss is dead on the roof how are you going to shift it?

you need to wash it off!!!  :D

Mark

I can only think to spray the moss killer onto the roof, either by roof ladders or spider lift (the second one would be my choice) and then when you know it is dead and you get a dry day get back up there and brush it all down with a stiff yard brush!!! or just yard brush the lot off without the moss killer.

I hope you've got strong arms ;D

We dry scraped a roof in Bath on the old train station hangar - next to the clients property.

Rob ;D

youd need summit stronger than that as the roof grows lichen as well as moss,if the tiles are pouros which they probably are it is gonna look a mess after treated!!idealy you will need to clean it off properly not jetting upwards as likley to flood attic, then treat it with an anti fungal treatment (biocide) which will keep anythin from growing back,,simply puttin somethin on the moss hoping it will get washed off simply wont work and will cause all sorts of probs with blocked gutters and downpipes etc..and charg 12-15 sq m..

Hi Mark
Have a look at this website and the headings I think it's what you need

http://www.copperridge.co.uk/index.htm

Products

Clean Roof (by hand), Spray Fungicidal Treatment, Fit Copper Ridge and Clean out Gutters -
our most popular service as this is the ‘full’ job. To clean the roof we use nylon brushes, small trowels etc. The fungicide is then sprayed evenly to ensure the spores are killed. Then we fit the copper to prevent future moss growth and clean out all the gutters.

Pricing Structure

all the best
Mark
