had to go trad today too cold to pole ,did not think i still had it in me after wfp, mop and bladed a house in 15 mins , think that was faster than the pole .
got stuck in , up down ladder , takes me bake to the good old days . ;D
-
done the same r kid.
two houses that i couldnt do top, just done botom, but they still paid me the full amount. ;D ;D ;D ;D
course i put it all down. :P
-
sounds like good custys, i do think that they understand about how bad the weather is and know we are trying to do a job, but it can be a hazard on ladders .
some have still paid me even though i could not do some of the windows , such as on slopeing roofs and that.
-
i also get paid for all the windows but i do all the tops with a trad pole except ones above flat roofs/side garages

if you go trad for the time being . wont the water from the mop , freeze on the windows? or do u put a bit of anti freeze in the water?
-
I will be cleaning the snow of my ladders and going trad as of tommorow, till this freezing weather stops any way!

arent you taking the safety aspect of the wfp away by using ladders. I was always abit nervous on ladders on wetish days but i definately couldnt go out in ice and snow

DALE...I WILL SHOW YOU A REALLY FAST WAY OF DOING IT THAT MARC TAUGHT ME, MUCH QUICKER THSN HOW YOU USUALLY CLEAN THEM

If its cold enough, even with screen wash, the water will freeze, but I reckon you can work in lower temperatures trad than you can WFP, since with WFP its generally the nozzles that'll freeze first.
Oh, and I'm not sure if anti freeze is a good idea. I'm fairly sure its a carcinogenic; ie it'll give you cancer, but a quick google should be to show if I'm right or not if that's what you plan on using.
