I currentley work 4 days a week over a 4 week cycle. Ive re-arranged my round and compacted it into 3 weeks. 2 weeks on a 4 day week and 1 week is a 5 day week ;D
Am going to use the extra week to build up some commercial work.
And i can still fit more into my residental round in some areas.
Has been hard working it out, but so worth it !

I am moving, might keep the commercial for myself and travel back if its really worth it.
Failing that it means the business is worth more ;D

sorry but how is the business worth more, youll still do the same amount of jobs a month if its worth 4x before it wont be worth 5x now or am i missing something,

Makes no differeance stanley you could make it bigger before i.e canvass the friday as only does 4 days.

Yeh then watch it rain for 5 days runnin'. That'll put the fly in t the ointment! ;D

well done, with a week spare than is a couple of 000 quid a month extra, or a week off with the kids, forget all the crap about it will rain, they are probably just jealous that u can do this lol work the business how you want, i my self work 3 days a week, and spend rest with my kids and happier now than i have very been

sounds good in theory but u may find alot of custys not liking u getting round so often!dont be surprised if u overhear a husband say to his wife" its that numpty money grabbing WC AGAIN!TELL HIM TO LEAVE THEM THIS MONTH AS HE WAS ONLY HERE LAST WEEK!!"
seriously though if ur custys are used to u getting round every 4 weeks.3 weeks will seem like u were only there the week before!trust me i know!i tryed it years ago!u will get quite a few "not todays"and then end up cleaning them evry 6 weeks.7-8weeks when the weather bad.

i know what you mean we have just done the same, instead of doing 4 days weeks due to lack of work we have bunged the residential into one big block(its all pretty close to each other ) and now have a week in each cycle too canvass
my work has always been 3 weekly since i bought it and didnt want to put to 4 weekly as i will obvioulsy lose money
however i think im gonna have too this year as too many people are starting to drop to 6 weeks or complain!!
so gonna canvass in enough to break even when i go too 4 weekly
pain really as it feels like canvassing for no financial gain :(
but is the right decision im sure
