and it dont look like it's gonna clear soon. we had 2 -3 days of thawing but during that we got more snow sometimes and then it all started freezing up again. nightmare. More again today and forecast dont look good for next week. roads maybe be clear but gardens are a good few inches deep and as soon as hose is on that then it's game over i reckon

Slightly different for me Daz, got average temp of -8 here next week. Took abit of advice from here last week from Matt B about just doing downstairs and / or working with a pole. Worked fine downstairs only but when I did some upsatirs with trad pole and Wagtail it drove me nuts. Slow at first too, need more practice.
Had a foot of snow here for 2 weeks now, and still light snow now, sick of the stuff lol

so have i, I live near spennymoor co. durham and snow is forecast up to and including wednesday providing it's not to cold i will be out
-
takes a while to get used to the trad poles.i use them every day but when the weather this bad i use them all the time NO LADDERS!Any windows above flat roofs that i cant reach get missed til next time.i personally believe we should all be proficient in all aspects of traditional window cleaning inclu trad pole work as wfp equipment can freeze, break or be too dangerous to use as a result of freezing water on the ground.

how did you get on before christmas , i only managed 2 dayr in the 2 weeks before regards alan

Had between 12-14 inches of snow in the last 2 days and it's still coming down now. Realy need to get out and do what I can on Monday. But I suppose that is one of the down sides to this job so no point moaning to much as there is nothing we can do to change the weather.
