Title: Days worked
Post by: pingu on January 02, 2010, 10:48:31 am
I have been re-thinking my rounds and looking at it...I have found that I work around 24 days out of a possible 40 work days in my 8 weekly cycle...excepting the 12x 12weekly work that I have...these get put as close as possible to 12 weekly as I can fit them in.

So how does this compare with you?

How many days do you work and how do you manage it all?

Cheers
Dave.

i just tell them i do every 5 or 8 weeks , sometimes it all over the place need to sort it out .
weather can mess  it up .
think i'll get a map of my area split into 4 sections and what ever is in that one section gets done by a certain time .  think i could speed the round up doing it that way .
should work if i stick to it , what do you think any ideas .

mine vary depending on time of year.in spring/summer i can finish and be straight up by thursday at 4pm for that week.not very often though!i would say ive enough work to keep me working for 18-20 days a month generally.more with extras like conny roofs, gutters etc

I can remember when I only had three or four customers for about a fiver each.  No big shots around here.  Just little shots who keep shooting  :)

i have a full 20 days to do but i do fall behind time to time.its an eye opener when you look back over the year how much money you lose from slacking and weather issues and letting it get behind, i lost over a month all in all last year.
