i've been trying something new for keeping my hands warm this winter and i must say the results have been, well, tropical!
simply make your pole hose extra long and wind it around the base section of your pole.
using a piece of 1/4" ro pipe underneath the windings is best, otherwise the windings can squash the piece of pole hose which sits underneath the windings.
this does add a bit of weight to the pole, but i think it's worth it for toasty hands!
good luck with your new project! i'm sure you can all figure out the fiddly bits ;D
