As some of you know I run a fairly large Window Cleaning Business in Cornwall, I have my foot in the door with hundreds of commercial buildings and I am sure I can sell them Cleaning services to run along side of the window cleaning.
I am comfortable with all aspects of exterior cleaning, but I dont have a clue where to start when it comes to the interior, I.E. materials, hourly rates, what the customer expects.
I am looking for someone to give me an insight to what I need.
My email is in my profile
Thanks ~Dave

Hi David, I sold my commercial cleaning business (T/O £2 Mill) in 2008, then went to University and gained a Post Graduate in Business and Personnel coaching, I now run a business in the midlands helping all types of commercial and cleaning business owners succeed.
When I operated my business (250 staff) I always wanted a shoulder to rely on, a confidante, and trusted business partner who understood my business and had my interests at heart. Finding the right skills to understand your dilemma is difficult, but most small business challenges fall into any one (or more) of 3 categories.
1. Profit
2. People
3. Time
I come across all too many people spending too much time in the business, working with big clients for little profit and not managing the people they have, these issues are common to all business, not just cleaning.
A good source of help is your local business link, or a well qualified coach if you need a good business coach and mentor, drop me a PM or email me at Geoff@CfBC.co.uk, I have access to a pool of business coaches who may be able to assist you with the business development and business planning.
Good Luck
Geoff

turnover of 2 million and employing 250 staff then that means your staff where only turning over approximately £16 each a week ??? ??? ???
I work it out as £8000pa per staff member which is more like £150 per week?
you are right it is about £150 a week per employee so i will delete my above post
-
if you want the exact figures let me know,
Cheers Geoff

Alot of cleaners only do 10 hrs a week or so though, so its not like they were 250 full time...
