hi all just done water production from my 300 gpd it took me 11 minuets to produce 1 litre of water which is approx 6 liters an hour which is not good any ideas or help thanks andy

i would say that you have low water pressure, have you a pressure dial on the ro unit ??
-
no can i get a gauge and where from thank andy
-
also in this cold weather the flow rate will be lower
-
The output is crap without a booster pump. But there must be more than that. I would guess that you are still flushing the ro. Have you turned the flow valve onto production?
Mine produces almost 9 times that.
To figure it out, unplug the tube that flows into your DI vessel and turn the valve, the water that flows out will tell you if it is in produstion or flush mode.

Production mode is when less water goes out your wast pipe and more come out of you pure di pipe. I would guess you water pressure is 2 bar or less .you can buy a pressure guage fron Filtration online google them then phone Alan on that phone number.Tell him you need a guage with fitting to fit on line before your R O .on there webb site you will find details of booster pumps ash him which will suit your needs.Just found Alan`s phone.07977 365410. I found him most helpfull, Good Luck Reagrds Richard

Presumably you haven't been managing with this level of production for the past 12 months? Lack of maintenance has probably knackered your membranes, and your prefilters must be almost solid :o
New membranes and filters should solve your problem, and then devise a maintenance routine and stick to it (flushing/regular prefilter change)

hi all thanks for advice chaneing all filtres and membranes thanks andy

i ran my old RO for 3 years without changing anything, it did die in the end
its a disposable item for me, as i only use a 75 or 100 GPD unit

I think you're in flush mode.
Quarter past 9 is flush mode on my RO unit. Production is 6 o clock.
I would ignore the flush bit setting, disconnect from the DI vessel and turn the flush setting around while watching the different flow coming out of the pipe.

If your unit is on flush you will see an increase of water at your out let waste pipe.Keep and eye on it you will see the differance.
