Why are you buying 100m hose and reel for a backpack?
I use about a 10m length of pole hose from backpack to pole.

thats what i spotted aswell
no need for that
oh and the 27’ pole complete at £179.00 looks a bit pricey
-
If you buy now, it needs to be 15% VAT, not 17.5% till Jan
-
Too much hose and not enough containers. Go to your local car wash not the fore court type and ask them for empty barrels. I did this for my trolley system and collected 15 barresls for free. Just have to wash them out a couple of times.
-
i didnt specify anything i just asked them for a price for a complete backpack set up
thats why i need you guys to challenge it and show me alternatives
many thanks

You can save yourself £25 on the 25l drums, go to local carwash the ones that pre wash by hand, they have these and can get them free or for pennies, wash out once with tap water, and swill with pure, job done.

Is DI best for you? Do you know the TDS of your water? You may want to go RO/DI to save on resin costs.
Also, as has been pointed out you won't need that hose and the pole may not be suitable. It's probably too long for most of your domestic work.
-
Are you going full wfp or tops only ?
What's your TDS ?
Scrap the 100M hose and reel, grab 30M of 8/6mm microbore/pole hose and get a sack truck. As said above, grab a few more tubs.
And the vat goes up to 17.5% on 1st Jan, not a day before.
The backpack your buying is a cracking piece of kit. That's what I started out using.
I'd convert a harris pole too, them 27ft fibre glass poles can get heavy.

you could try the super lightweight fishing pole

Get your self a harris pole end extend if need more length with fibre glaas harris poles and put a super light brush on front.

Personally id go for the RO, will cut your long term costs down. But depends on money at the moment.
Not sure about the lengths avalible, but i bought mine in a 30m roll.
Yes the harris pole is from B&Q... Search on youtube for £30 harris wfp and you should get Ians video on how to make it (window washers)
