got a letter through a few days ago that was signed for recorded delivery. it mentions that we have been awarded a contract to clean for a company (i wont be specific) that seems pretty big.
this seems like some weird scam to me, i have googled the phone number i need to ring with no results, but the phone number in the letterhead is different and it comes up with another cleaning company. the weird thing is this letter is from another big cleaning company, but they are saying we have won the contract to clean.
any one ever heard of this?

"if it seems too good to be true ..........." I recon its a premium phone line scam, why would you ever be awarded a contract with no effort when they are hard enough to get with loads. I did have a phone call from the KCC which I thought was a wind up - I now do the drains on the Gypsie camps ??? ???

it's a landline number which is in the same town as the cleaning company and there real number, e.g. 01384. i know it seems very strange but they sent it signed for recorded delivery. i'll give the cleaning company a call from a number on their website tomorrow and see what they say.
what makes me think that it's more of a scam is that the address used is a second one that is only used for google local business so we appear in more then one town as we have more then one address,but nothing else uses that address. the only thing i can think of it some silly person looked for green clean solutions or green clean, but instead green clean solution came up first.
