Title: B&Q Orange bucket
Post by: Dean Taberner on December 19, 2009, 11:05:11 pm
Has anybody ever bought one of these?

I left my bucket on a lidl a while back and only found out 20 mile down the road at the next lidl,

I popped into the local B&Q and bought one of these beauties for £1

Its by far the worst £1 ive ever spent,

On the journey to the next lidl it some how got smashed into about 2000 pieces due to the water splashing about in it,

I would have been better off buying a kinder egg, breaking it in half and using that,

Its only after several months that I can bring myself to talk about this experience,

I know its only £1 but they are unsellable!!

Anyone else come across these?

Anyway, rant over and curry time.

Dean

they sell them as a " shopping basket " that you pay for your stuff ( and the bucket ) and take it to your car / van

i am not sure they are meant to be a serious builders bucket

You must have had a duff one dean... I used to use them as an engine stand when I was stripping down my motorbike to bits. Infact I've still got them with about 30kg of bike parts and there still standing strong

I bought a couple of these a while ago, just for washing the car etc. I was washing my van last week and thought I was using lots of water, then realised there were splits and cracks everywhere and I hardly ever use it, so god knows how it got in that state, so I agree they are "crap".
