Title: I am loving WFP,
Post by: krave on December 18, 2009, 06:55:51 pm
I know there has been threads like this before, but I wanted to just say that really.

In all honesty after going back once dry a few windows have dry water marks in corners, and I did take my time, Think I should maybe up the flow on the first cleans. I have never cleaned the top frames in over a year of these custies. Have it at 45 atm out of 99 on the eco-flo.

Some windows where amazing, and looking at the frames and windows together once dried was lovely.

Some houses that I have cleaned the frames when trad I done in almost half the time and had no marks once dry. Can really see the potential, and look forward to getting better with the system!!

I am using a Slx 25 and superlight !  :P

On a few jobs I think a heavyer pole would hurt, but maybe thats because im weak at the moment...

Very very rigid mate, On most domestic only extend it 1 1/4 sections up, and it barely bends. Very light and nice looking.

Glad I went with it as my first pole as I think Working with something that bends or is heavy would really start to strain.

Al in all very nice.

eco clean

wfp is proabably the best thing i bought,  i bought cheap and second hand where i could , ie pole, then bought a new head, wintec own brand hose etc,   eventually i will up grade to bigger and better parts,  manily the tank and pole, everything else is fine

some on here will say that unless you spend 2 grand on it its not aproper system, but it does me and does the same job as theres

My budget was about 800 to start with, ended up almost 2k. Was looking for second hand bits but none where about!! Got sucked in to diy'ing with the best of the best.

Got the Hf5 40-40 and today it saved me BIG time. Van was stuck last night, took three hours to get it out today, got it out and and could go home and make the water quickly enough to get out and do a little work!!

Cant make it in my static yet as its to cold out there!!

And as said think the slx is perfect.

They all do the same thing, make & get pure water to the glass. After that it's down to little things here & there that make the job a bit quicker/easier etc. BUT, I will always remain of the oppinion that as soon as funds allow a good, light, rigid pole will make the biggest difference to your working life. ;)

I agree the pole itself is the most important piece of equipment. Ultimately this is the piece of equipment that earns you the money; my poles alone cost as much the rest of the wfp system, if not more.

Once you have your pure water production and delivery system in place you could leave in place for many, many years, but the poles never.

It must be the festive spirit, we agree fully on something! ;)
