Just for abit of fun to see how much people enjoy their jobs,
If you won £5m or any amount that would see you comfortable for the rest of your life, would you be tempted to keep your best customers on to keep you busy at your leisure whilst your werent jet packing or would you wash your hands of window cleaning all together?
Dean

Id pack it in ;D ;D
-
Id carry on cleaning,
seriously :o :o :o

I have too many other things I want to do.
Ive been building a fish-tank/fish-room for 3 years, still not finished, gonna make some good headway this weekend with it actually; bloody nightmare; not got enough hours in the day.
-

Its sounds like you dont enjoy doing it though,
Could you not pay somebody a few grand to do that whilst you were cleaning mrs smiths for £20? ;D
-
No I love it, I just havent got the time. Got £500 of pipe-work for delivery tomorrow, that should be fun, glueing that lot together. ;D Now where does this bit go ??? ???
But Ive promised myself I NEED to sort it, so I will now. I just needed the extra motivation.

Do you mean I should clean council estates Daz? :o :o
If I won the lottery that is. 8)

i,d keep working until it was all gone, ;D
and perhaps buy myself an even more inapropriate work van ;D
-
id treat my self to a new harris pole ;D

Moneys not everything, but it will do til' everything comes along. :)
-
i would jack it all in and spend my days annoy the wife even more than i do now
-
5 mill :o :o
i could retire on a 10th of that, thus 500 K
-
This is quite interesting Dean. If you go through the list of things you would do such as join a gym and get fitter, do some courses and get smarter etc, much of it can be done without 5 mill.
In fact i was talking to a lad that has just got out of nick and he now has a c&g in carpentry!!! ;D
-
I'd emigrate to constant warmer climate and never set foot in rip off Britain ever again ;D
-
If you had 5 million you would have to invest or spend it wisely because its not that much, people who have won £20 million are skint now because they Just blew it?
-
Dean this is what I was talking about. The tank system I have started here is approx 2,500 litres.

looks well smart. I've dived the famous 'blue hole', swimming with the sharks, good experience diving down through a thermal incline. ;D
-
Dahab blue-hole?
-
Blue hole carribean
-
That reef tank is breath taking ;D, would love to have a big enough space/wall to do something like that, maybe in my next office if thing go well next year.
As to what I would do with 5mil.
Buy 5 more houses not massive or expensive just in right areas.
I would then build my business a lot quicker with the funds to do it and make Dean head of national contracts ;D
I may take a holiday for a couple of weeks also 8)

When I won £5 million on the lottery I started my window cleaning business ;)

I'm with Windowswashed on this one, there's nowt to keep us in this country, crap weather, a crap government made up of crap people who have forgotten who they work for; nothing we'd miss.
The wife and I already plan on getting away as soon as possible, £5m would just speed things along.

Would love to follow the Formula 1 season all round the world. But I know someone who won a 500k share as part of a syndacate in the early days of the lottery. She was back looking for her old job back after a year as she was bored after getting a nice new house and several holidays.
I suppose if your happy with your lot, why change it.
-
I'd build up a national window cleaning company, buy houses and rent them, invest in shares (I know which will do well in the next 5yrs ;) ) and spend loads of time with my family
-
i would jack it in pay one of yous to clean me windows.and yes i would give you a crimbo tip too :) happy christmas to you all and hope the weather is not too bad next year for us all.
