every so often i turn the flow on, and rub the bristles with my hand cleaning any dirt of , and stick a carrier bag on it when am finished, tesco asda, it dont matter ;D 1 tip, keep the brush bristles of walls and the ground,

i clean mine when it looks dirty a clean brush cleaner windows rinsing on thats why i like the white stalk easy to see any crap on it customers garden hose is good to clean it holding the bristles away from you hoseing the dirt out of it also as recommended by someone on here a steel dog comb to remove the webs
-
I stick mine in a bucket of bleach if I ever get egg on the bristles. Bristles come up cleaner than Daz on whites ;D
-
I use pure water and a bucket, just put my brush head in the bucket of pure water over night about once a month.
