Title: PROTECTA BALL
Post by: Andrew46 on December 13, 2009, 02:23:32 pm
Is one of these places at the end of th hose pole and end of mircobore hose end or just on end of pole hose?

Shouldn't it be placed on end of both pole hose and microbore to protect both male and femail connectos??

Whats wrong with them? Surely they keep the connector off the ground?

Yep you got it right, for maximum protection it needs to be put on the micro/minbore and on the pole hose.

I have them on both the pole hose & microbore I do find it better if you put a large 2pence size washer on the hose first to stop the ball from deforming against the O ring clip that secures the male conector on the pole hose

They say the most simple solutions are often the best, and this is one! Can't believe I haven't thought of that.  :D
