I've just listened to my messages and an Indian sounding gentleman left this message:

"Good afternoon this is Mr Yardle from the Indian Consolate, we have a requirement of cleaning office sofas... I we appreciate you can call me back on 023294455"

Made me laugh ;D ;D ;D

Ive had one of those to this week colin but thought it was a sales call, it turned out they are moving up here in the new year and she just wanted the carpets cleaned before moving in.

Colin, you were good enough to give me this guys details when I emailed you about it in December.  Well, it was indeed carpet and upholstery cleaning in the Indian Consulate office in Edinburgh.

I did the first job for them which was worth £100.  He made it quite clear that, if the consul general was satisfied with my work, I would be invited back to clean the entire building.  All went well and I ended up cleaning all the carpets (six floors) for a ticket price of £700.  Total value for those of you who cant add up - £800  :)

So thanks a million Colin for letting me have his details.  You are a top man.

Colin had a message from osama bin laden wanted a rug cleaned . I new it was a genuine message.
