Title: prices i know boreing

i had a  meet with someone from another forum ,about payroll the other day and we were chating and he seems to think that £10 per hour, for commercil cleaning is to little offices/factorys ect, now i live in south wales valleys with not a lot of work so is there anyone from around here, who can shead some light on this , as i thought my prices were about the average

marie, why dont you write down what its going to cost you to employ
some one : transport , insurance ,wages , uniform  etc
It will give you an idea what you need to charge.It will be around £8 or £9 that will be just to cover your costs.

why did you change your name?

i have not priced up insurance yet, transport the cleaners will get themselfs there ,i aiiways did when i worked for a contracter except on builders cleans then they picked us up so early in the morning, and i thought tabards with name tags wont be so pricy

There was a fantastic little download on here a few months back, which I now have on my pc and use it to check my pricing. I'll search it later when I have more time and post a link. If in the meantime you want to have a look for yourself, I think the XL ( you'll need a spreadsheet program, but the one that comes with XP is fine) document was posted by CMS. Hope this helps a little.

 The odd thing is, my 'rough guess' prices are very similar to what this program comes up with, and on one occasion was spot on.
