Ok, so as some may know I'm selling up my business and moving area.
I'm going to be advertising for sale in January and was wondering people views on the stages of selling up.
1st: advertising.... Where ?
2nd: what should I tell / not tell initial enquirys
3rd: someone is genuine... What's the process there on ?
I'm selling as a business... Custys, kit, vehicle, leaflets & mobile... The whole lot

bloody hell, you should get some good wedge for that lot

1 advertise here, ebay, local paper, with how much you want
2 tell them the reason you are moving, how long contracts are for etc,
3 get solicitors involved to draw up a contract of sale, to protect both of you, listing what is included and not included in the sale etc, any one who is genuine, should not have a problem with this, u might have to work with them for a month ie 2 weeks you make the money 2 weeks he makes the money, to show him the ropes this will look better on you, rather than some one who takes the money and runs
is ur company ltd?

Different van and different equipment krave
Customers always see the van, so its part of the window cleaning.
What should I put in a letter to the customers ? Was thinking of a picture of the new guy so they know who he is.
