Title: NCCA web site on steroids
Post by: Nigel_W on December 10, 2009, 07:56:12 pm
Has anyone else noticed an increase in the amount of NCCA enquiries over the past week. I have now had 8 in a week which is an all time record?

Maybe the NCCA web site has had a bit of SEO?

Like I said it is an abnormally high number. I usually get a couple a month - maybe it is just a freak week.

Len - who could be offended by your good self. By the way the draught marking page has gone ;D

The NCCA does'nt really need any SEO. It ranks around number 1 nationally. I think they may be taking steps promote which is good for the industry.

If that's the case Pete, where do I sign?

I think it'll be a very shrewd move for NCCA to become a household name.

What the NCCA needs is for enough of you mover and shakers to join go along to AGM and vote yourselves in

What puzzles me why has this not happend

The Culture of meetings could be changed it is possible for decisions to be taken  via internet and tele confrencing etc to avoid the need for taking days out etc

We are at the early stages of planning a NCCA 'day' at our Tyneside premises in April 2010.  (Google Newlife Cleaning and look on the contact page for a map)

The subject of the NCCA obviously raises a lot of diverse comments.

I would be extremely interested in any suggestions on what you would like to see demonstrated / taught / displayed during the day.

We are not soley a carpet cleaning company but a full cleaning services provider. So although the main thrust of the day has to be obviously carpet and soft furnishing cleaning, we should be able to accomodate any suggestions which get enough support.

One area I was hoping to have a decent session on was the use of the web, AdWords and SEO. Would enough people be interested?

Please let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas which could be useful. I cannot promise anything as we are simply the host for the day but I am a great believer in "if something is worth doing, it's worth doing well" and I will push any good suggestions as hard as I can.

Let those ideas flow ;-)

They say all competition is good.

What the NCCA has is years of experience and contacts.
Now if only what Ian is suggesting could happen.....
Having said that, thay have a program for the next few months including a fresh website.
