as the subject matter says, also what does that setting after number 9 mean, looks like a 6 or a b? anything i should know about varistreams? are they ok run dry,how should I of primed it(just whacked it on 9 tonight!)etc, etc
-
It should be self priming, the last setting baffles me too,
dont run it dry , even if they say its ok...
i have my setting on 3 or sometimes 2...
3 is enough i reckon.
-
setting 1 for me. sometimes 2 max if it's a wall of glass.
-
One setting will be the spee the other the pressure, how long the pump runs for once the hose is closed. Running dry depends on the pump. Most pumps can be run dry.
Simon.

I have mine on 2 or 3..
The last setting is "b" which i think stands for "boost", which you used when everything is empty to push the water through
-
Have mine on 3 all the time. ;D

100m Minibore.
Varistream on 3, shutoff pressure on 9. That's for maintenance cleans.
b is for boost.
