Title: A decent delivery hose
Post by: Pole 2 Pole on December 06, 2009, 07:13:24 pm
Lookin to buy a decent sized I/D delivery hose for IBC to van. Only about 15 meters of it but would be great if i could have it on a hozelock reel, so i can keep the garden tidy for the mrs  ::) Any thoughts where i could buy such a thing lads? PS as ya probably know, normal garden hose sends me to sleep, waiting and waiting and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I got my hose from a pump supplier near me, it is trecoflex (probs spelt that wrong)

it shoots water out very very quick. I will have a search about see if I can find it online for you.

No mad rush Ian, don't worry honestly mate. I was just thinking it will be great for the winter too, less chance of water freezing, should i leave it outside. My next little challenge is to find some kind of watertight threaded device to screw in to the top of the tank(in van) and a tap that i can just connect to the watertight threaded device(presuming i buy the tricloflex) and let rip  ;D Does anyone have a clue what i'm waffling about now?  :-* Thanks for the offer Ian. You're a top man  ;)

This is what happens when worr lass nicks the sky control(right tosh?).......ya mind turns to work and thoughts start popping round ya head. Going back to what i was just saying in previous post, i can't take lid off to fill up as i got my white/green hose coming out of that(fixed) so i can fill my backpack up with. I'd do it all soo differently if i could do it all over again, lol

It's looking like i might have to go down that route bud. Not exactly how i wanted to do it, but if it saves me taking 20 odd mins to fill the tank, then so be it i guess. Cheers  ;)
