Hey to all, any of you guys that employ other do a christmas party

We have a Christmas party and summer BBQ

Great to have a laugh with all the lads outside of work,

Dinner, beers and a club all on me tonight best make sure I take the credit card

were going out for Curry then hitting the town, may even stretch to going to the strippers if we've had enough booze ;D

i do the odd lads day out on me in the summer, you know, paintball, quad bikes and so on but no christmas party yet as i dont think i employ enough people yet to make it really good, maybe in a year or 2.

how many people do you employ?

Across the companies 34 but just the window cleaners out tonight 10 out of 12 of them coming should be a laugh

yer we try to have a laugh day once a quarter, paint ball, go kart, go ape.

I have found it really good for building the team

JV... sounds like a tight arsed question but is that classed as a taxable expense?

I wouldn't want to work for you guys.  I only ever went paintballing once and copped a bad one on the side of my head.  Never again LOL.

You get an allowance I think but would do it even if I had to pay for it

i keep trying to sell the idea of a sole traders xmas party to my mrs, but she wont let me go out on my own, on the town, in my uniform!!  :-[

Take all the lads and their partners out for a meal at a local inn.  We pay for the meal, they buy their own drinks. ;)

We are taking our staff to the Hilton in Brighton for dinner and disco. We pay for meal and a few drinks.

you can claim back for team building and christmas doos ect its a busiess expense at the end of the day.

We are going for a posh meal in manchster next friday.

But i think they like thechritmas bonus est ;)

taking the wife out for a curry i ve told her ill pay for the meal and the drinks but when we hit the town she is paying ;D

this is the first year ive had employees and im taking them for a christmas menu meal in town followed by pub , should be a laugh but can only do it on a thurs so wont be getting very legless as there will be windows to clean the next day!!
