Yh. Its amazing how a lot of people still view window cleaners. Like some George Formbyesque part-time tax dodging fantasy   ::) Well, what they dont know doesn't hurt them  ;D

On topic, i was cleaning a hotel insides once upon a time, going knock knock, "window cleaner" followed by use of skeleton key.  In one room got intercepted as i went thru the door by a starkers guy looking terribly awkward. got a glimpse down past him, could just see a pair of feet sticking off end of bed!  :o

We were both on the job i guess  ;D

I was doing the front bedroom window on a place quite a few years ago, the kids were in there, you know how they can be when the window cleaner turns up, jumping around, laughing and giggleing.

Anyway one of them came up to the window, the side opener was on the latch, he says 'Wanna see Mummys toy?' and goes gets her vibrator out of the bedside cabinet.

Like everyone I get asked this regularly.  My answer:  Look missus, I've been doing this job for over 40 years and never seen a b****y thing!!  If I don't see something by next week I'm going to pack it in and go do something else ;D

I have to smile  when some customers quickly draw the upstairs curtains. Do they think I have a camera on my brush?

A few years ago I had to 'charge' through an arch covered in flowers because there were bees all over them and I didn't want to get stung.  So I held my ladders parallel to the ground and made a dash through the arch to get to the house.

Then, straight in front of me was a patio door and through it I saw a middle-aged bloke, he on the sofa, watching what I presume to be pornography; and he was really enjoying his own company.

He saw me and ran.  I didn't knock to collect, I just left a note for his Mother.

I have a customer who has to have her windows cleaned early on a Saturday morning because she works during the week and says she has lots to do at the weekend, mostly shopping I think.

She's always still in bed when I knock and comes down in a very thin nightie with nothing underneath and then opens the garage door for me. I was really embarrased at first but I'm used to her now and she obviously couldn't care less. She's nothing to write home about in any case.

 :o :o :o

I,take it you've now stop cleaning this house.

if you were wfp you could have squirted her.

I'm sorry for those less fortunate than ourselves.

I use to do this house where the mother was mentally ill.

She was probably late 50's and use to have a repeat consvertion about hubby pays.

Hello john will pay you.

Me: no problem.

is that ok then

me: yep fine

so it's ok if john pays you?

and so on

got too much in the end as i put stuff away she was standing in the middle of busy road and took me 5 mins to talk her into going back indoors.

Sorry, Vince is that bit in red a euphemism?  ;)

Oh and of course as long term users of this forum will know I did "the wrong house" and had the pleasure of meeting a naturist pruning his roses in nothing more than a pair of sandals and a panama hat! - And no,  that wasn't a euphemism ...  ;D

Oh, and Tosh - I didn't know you did Squeaky's mum's house!

No, it wasn't Squeaky; the fella I saw was quite a 'big fella' if you know what I mean!  ;)

One of my customers has 2 cats and a dog, an old black lab.
I watched in horror yesterday while he was munching on the cointents of the cat litter tray, and he wasn't eating the litter.
