SOLD SOLD
I have an RO filteration system for sale.
It is approximately 12 months old or so. I am in no rush to sell this so I am open to sensible offers.
I have attached a picture. It does have a presure gauge on but it is hidden in the photo by the workmate bench and is a little dusty.
I am based in Kent Maidstone.
Reason for sale is we are no longer have the need to produce as much water. So after sale I will down grade to a small ro.
Cheers

What price do you have in mind ? how long has this sat not being used ?
-
Its sat around for about 30 - 40 days. without being used. Although I will be using again in a couple of days. However in that time I have used it to top up the ibc tank which we are not selling.
If you could tell me why that is important to know it would be appreciated.
As for the price, I need to see what these retail at first. So I will be looking into that next week. I know what I purchased it at but prices flactuate.
If the offers I get are not worth me moving it on then I will keep it. As I know when it comes to replace the item it will cost me alot more in the long run. Small RO units that are designed for marine use, for fish tanks cost around £350 - 450 mark. Which is what I probably will down grade to if I have a reasonable offer. But if not I am happy to keep it.
At most its just filters that will need replacing, but I am still getting 000 a bout 2 weeks ago on tds.
We have subbed alot of our work out so thats the main reason for moving it on.
Cheers

No I never promised this to you. You enquired about it. You also asked what my lowest price was. That was at 8:15pm yesterday. My lowest price was agreed at £500 with you.
You also said you will call back either before 9pm the same day or in the morning. As you need to check to see if you have enough money to get other kit as well. There was no agreement to hold it for you whatsoever. I agreed to sell at a price.
You telephoned back at about 10:56am in the morning. Where I informed you that I had already sold it to someome earlier in the morning who already paid and collected. I never said I would hold it for you. Its first come first served.
There ws no bad attitude on my part. Infact I spent time with you on the telephone trying to explain how they work. You also asked me details of the per gallons in a day etc. I also said you could see it running. I also said that whoever buys the RO I will give them a full bottle of resin. - They were my exact words.
But I stress once again that with all honesty I never agreed to hold the item for you. I only agreed to sell at a price as you said you had a certain budget to stick to and you would telephone back to arrange a veiwing.

I am also shocked as there was no agreement to hold the item. We only agreed a price and nothing more.
People should really tell the truth as people get a bad name for no reason and no fault of there own.

it makes no difference now as i am £500 out of pocket on all the other bits i ordered to go with the system. yes you did help me on the phone and i am greatful for that but we agreed that i would call you in the mo and arange the pick up as i had to get the money out of the bank and calling after nine at night, i think is to late(this is called respect) but you had sold it instead of waiting for my call or calling me back to let me know. i just hope you treat your customers with a bit more respect than you did me as when i called you, you were off and all you had to say was (not my problem) i am disapionted in the way you were on the phone this morning

1. You never mentioned anything to do with a bank.
2. You did mention that you had to look at other kit and work out if you had enough money to purchase all of what you required. You never asked if I could hold the item for you. Your words were "I will call either before 9pm tonight that was yesterday or first thing in the morning" which was today. around 10.47am or so is not first thing.
When you had telephoned I told you I had sold it straight away. You then said "Oh that messed everything up."
What am I suppose to do? Buy it back? It was you that was not organised.
I am not appologising as I have done nothing wrong. As for moderators input, I feel there is no need. As
1. There was no agreement to hold the item
2. There was no agreement to pick the item up - only a viewing and buy if you get there and like it.
3. Its not as though he came to collect and was waiting outside. He telephoned, I informed it had been sold. He was disappointed. But if he really wanted it. He should have asked to reserve it.
End of.
I have had many calls on this item, many timewasters. Many many time wasters. It is very hard to tell a genuine buyer from a time waster. Anyone who had the cash on the table or cheque could have had this item there and then.
As for me being off with you on the telephone. Well that if I came accross "off" as you put it. That bit I will indeed apologise for. But only that bit. And no more. I was not abrupt, I was just straight, I said sorry mate thats gone. You replied thats messed everything up, I said, I cant do anything about that.
Now who was it that was disorganised? You. Thats a little bit like building a garage without taking the measurements of the car or van you want to store in it first. Then buying a high roof van and when you get the van to the garage it does not fit as it not big enough. In other words lack of preparation on your part.

im not being funny brycliff but people just cant hang around waiting to see if you want it,maybe you should of got the parts AFTER you have got the system and also before making any calls YOU should make sure you have enough to pay for it,its your own fault, live and learn
