Do any of you know where you can purchase 100mts of thermobore?
I am thinking that using this may reduce the risk of the hose freezing on really cold days.

Gardiners sell it £138 including vat with free delivery

With its insulating propeties, would it prevent the water from freezing in really cold weather?

Is there really a issue with water freezing in the hose on very cold days?

matt i have used 6mm microbore for 3 winters now and it's never frozen in the hoze.. only at the end near the fittings if any.. i think you would be wasting money there really mate..

if it was that cold, that the water was freezing in the pipe whilst you was working, i would go home and get warm matt
-
its better to use it with hot system, it keeps water at temp easier i found than normal.
if your only using cold normal pipe should be ok, like guys say its at the brush end things tend to freeze.
having said that your in essex now, dont get that cold down here compared to up north

I am getting customers from the flyers, Yell.com and the website.
Just picked 3 customers up today, whilst out cleaning, over £100 in monthly value, so I am all smiles at the mo.

good, i am going to wait till after xmas then do a load of flyers, in all the villages near me, am going to flyer every month for about 6 months and then see where i am, when i first started i got about 80 in 2 weeks, from knocking, and picked up some whilst out, just dont seem to have time to knock any more lol
am going to do just a simple black and white flyer, i think, see how this works

yep colchester, have you tried danbury area? for more work i have a commercial custy who lives there he says that there are not many wc around there
might be worth a shout

I would imagine thermobore would help stop the reel freezing quite effectively,... but if it did freeze during an extra cold spell, the kettle of water trick probably wouldn't work to defrost it!
