Yes, me. Superb piece of kit mate, really well put together & has never let me down. I had my power lead made with a 12v cig lighter plug on the end. ;)
Can't praise this pump box enough!
-
thanks mate,
is it as simple as it connects to the tank and hose reel and away you go?
dean
-
Yes, but so does a pump board also by cleantech, and the filter is easier to get to.

i use the pump on these trolleys....you can use it as a van mount or put it on a trolley like that...just ask to get upgraded to a 100psi ;)

Yes, simple as. ;) Bring in house on frosty nights to prevent freezing, just unplug it. Or you can fill the box with loft insulation. ;)

i have the older box without the pump controller, it uses the by-pass valve

I had that one too, lasted me over 3 years without letting me down once. Then it just stopped working, gave me the excuse to buy a new one with digi' varistream which has not let me down in 2 years & still going strong!!!! 8) 8)

No disrespect but I'd spend the extra £100 & know exactly what I'm getting! :)

Yes you could, cleantech's is an electrical box BUT when you whey up what all the bits cost + time & effort it just isn't worth doing it mate. I looked into doing it. ;)

What dimentions roughy are these boxs? would be good to make something neat that I can just "Plug and play".
Although you may only save minimal money, its still something. And for some people like myself, meas you can buy bit by bit.

Spot on mate, the bits o the box that the hoselock style vbrass fitting go into, the clear plastic bits. What are these? These would also be ideal by the looks of things to have one small external port in the side of my van to have the reel outside!!

from the guide i did, think you mean this
now the bit inside the box under the "top hat" is a 6mm barb with 3/4" thread (item number NHT3414) Hosetail 3/4"-1/4" Nylon on wintecs site, though i am sure other will do them (i just used wintec that day)
-
Matt does the top hat washer just sit between the hose end and the hoselock style bras fitting. So the hose end screws into the brass fitting through the box?
Or does the washer have its own threads and they connect together through the washer?
Cheers mate, and hope that has made sense.
-
the top hat washer is just used to spread the area that is next to the box, its a strength thing
they are used normally where a sink tap sites under the sink top, just for strength again
-
it doesnt have any thread or anything
-
Ok mate, just seen this pic. So it works like that with the washer to de stress the box....?
Cheers mate

My pump uses 1/2" hose, so just change the barb from 6mm to 1/2" yeah?
Sorry if im beig dumb here, Just want to clarigfy things in my head lol.
Thanks again mate.
-
And do you find or would I find that with a 100psi flojet pump pumping through that and a couple more hozelock fittings that they will leak? Or will they generally be ok and just fail after a while. Really would not want to make this if
it would be dripping water out!! :)

your spot on
just add the top hat washer ( any DIY store sell them, 50 p each )

they last well enough, my first box is a good few years old and still has the same fittings on, as i rarely undo them, thus less wear
-
Ok mate, as long as thaving a few hoselock fittings is cool and they dont dribble water out, think I will make this tomo. Also make something up to have a external van port!
So excited about using Wfp.
Got a very little estate that I have about 12 houses on, but there is about 40 houses with loft windows, Already have two waiting, And just before Xmas am going to knock all of them and hopefully secure them on my new equipment.
Cant wait lol......

if you do find they leak over time, many change them for rectus fittings, i have a set in my spares box, never used them

The pumpbox is now ordered,
Also a nice bonus was that they use paypal payments and ive got a bit in there from domestic payments,
Happy days,

Let us know what you think Dean when you get it up & running. I'm sure you'll be well pleased with simplicity & performance of it. ;)

I also am liking the fact that some suppliers are taking paypal orders. hate having to withdraw cash from there!
Hope all is good! :)

You would save 50 quid and it you shop around for the pump even more.

-
bear in mind that cleantech's is a 100psi surflo & digital varistream, with strainer in box too.
