I was on here one night absolutely ming monged on cider. I just got so fed up with someone's pathetic comment and subsequent action and decided to delete my account.... But it's been hard staying away because 99.99% of the people on here are spot on.

I think I'll just stand on the side lines if I can and watch other people's comments get ripped to shreads.... It's much more fun ;D

My brother's house got flooded.... 3ft of water in his living room and all he was bothered about was his electric guitar getting a good soaking ::)

Did you see the lady doing the signing for the news on the floods? 3 attempts she had at signing Cockermouth and eventually gave up ;D

Colin.

You just have to put a thick skin on at times. Some folks are prickly, that's just the way they are. Don't let it effect you. You are a bubbly character and are a credit to this forum and the trade we are in. Don't change because of other folks.

I'm the type who will always stop and chat with a fellow CC. Even if they are a local competitor.
I saw a CC a while ago working away in some empty student lets so I popped in to say hello. To say he wasn't pleased to see me would be an understatement. Maybe he was feeling defensive because he wasn't doing a very good job, who knows. But I will carry on because it can be lonely work at times and it's good to talk to others.

You then get the saddos that see you online and say your "lurking" - taking all the info and not giving.
You cant win Colin.
Just do your own thing. Glad to see you back and ok.

I think ure one of the good guys, like reading ure honest posts!

That tends to be the problem with some forums, being honest instead of joining in with the "I am" "I was" "I will be" "I'm fully booked up for the next 6 months" "I charge £150 an hour" brigade means you put yourself up for ridicule.

I think it's like the TV if you don't like what you are hearing then don't listen, I appreciate that some are stretching the truth some are telling the truth but which ones? they usually are found out.

Or perhaps you mean me?

One find day in the middle of the night
Two dead men got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other
A deaf policeman heard the noise and came and shot those 2 dead boys
If you believe this lie is true
Ask the blindman because he saw it too!

I'd intended phoning you Colin before heading down to Plymouth and you'd gone ! Anyway glad you're still around your progress is one of several I've followed with interest over the past year or so.

The Passing Out went well with David getting a couple of awards and excellent report.
Quite a place.
