No, I wouldnkt use GD or any other roundbuilders again.

Reasons:

-you simply don't know the quality of the work you will receive.
- canvassers will do anything to get a "customer" for you, they will tell them one thing and you another.
- they are representing your company, do you know them? Are they presentable? Do they care about you and your business? No, they care for £££
- high cancellation rate, due to customer being pressured into agreeing to take you on by pushy canvasser.
- no guidelines given to customer as to your processes for their home, they may not like or know about wfp.
- replacing lost work? will they do it? if so, how do you contact them? will they return calls? will they only replace it if you hire them again?

There are many other reasons, however its early sunday morning and can't be bothered getting involved in a row.

Personally, my advice is do it yourself, that way customers have met you and are confident in YOU to be on their property, and you can exain your process to them, from methods, to collections, thus consolidating your agreement and more chance of keeping that customer for long term.

Another option is to use your own canvasser, pay them 1x clean, and you are then in control. The thought of not being in control of my business progression worries me.

I would add, look at Steve CM's poll from a week or so ago.

CANVASSING COMPANIES ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED

I think that was the title.

Who did you use? name and shame fella.

It cost me using doorknockers, i think it's Paul Bass, not huge amounts, but enough to open my eyes.

Don't really wanna go into it too much, safe to say, lesson learnt. Had bad experience a week prior with GD Roundbuilders also.

Tried Roundbuilders, the female company, think thats their name, 2 emails, and 3 phone messages, no replies.

Also tried others, but no luck...

MSTAV, didn't you try your hand at canvassing for people?

What happened? Interested to hear why it didn't work for you.

We recently had him do some work for us and we would not use him again. While George talks a good talk about how honest and straight he is, we paid for work that never agreed to using our services and he has never put this right.
