i remember a guy who used to take his ladders on the bus!no joke!he lived about 2 miles from his work.i suppose it never crossed his mind to leave ladders at custys house and hop on the bus alone!part time i think he was.i seen him coming out of the local jehovas witness hall another day.i also remember a guy bout 12 or so years ago who was 75 who did a few in the morning then had a few at dinnertime in the local pub!! ;D ;Dnever seen a guy on a bike though i think stan the man still uses his on occassions ;) ;D ;D ;D

Used to be a few around here who would ride a bike with arm through ladder rungs now we all use cars or vans . no stan has a hand cart. keep threatening other half will get a horse and cart kids and housewives will love it and could sell muck for roses . Steptoe rides again ;D

i saw one this summer , riding his bike on the ring road in ipswich . spose he must be riding one handed ,other hand holding ladder on his shoulder ,whatever . LOOKED COOL ;D

so there are a few out there maybe if fuel prices go up might be a few more next summer . Be a bit stuffed with wfp ;D . Could invest in a trailer suppose and plenty of cream for saddle sores :o

i was talking to two guys in chepstow yesterday,
who used to work for ian giles ;)

they have a nice wfp system in the van

I saw a guy last year, but he was wheeling his bike with ladders balanced on handlebars and saddle. His bucket and tools were hanging on the handlebars.
There must be quite a few window cleaners who can't drive, so there must be a few still using bikes around the country.
