Do you think that if it wasnt for forums you would still be doing this job, I find people on here and other forums are like work collegues and you dont get so bored on your own, I think that if it wasnt for these forums I may not still be in this job because I dont think id have as many custys as I have right now, as I probs wouldnt of thought about employing a canvasser, I wouldnt know about wcp, where to get good uniforms from, or even thought about a website the list is endless.

Love them or loath them, forums for windies are a god send, just go to the home page, scroll down and see just how many use just this forum.
Also I think many may not realize that ciu has a "non cleaning ralated" section which is definately well worth a look at even if its just for a good laugh. You dont need to post at all but just reading all the posts is a good way to pass time.

i love the forums.......i never take what people say too seriously on them (unless they state otherwise) i find most folk agree with me, that we are just window cleaners and dont have any airs and graces.....i know some of us do put a lot more into our biz than others (and thats their right) but at the end of the day its just a job....it really aint rocket science......anyways, the forums are a great way to wind down at the end of the day, a wee bit of banter ( its like having the lads round for a beer on a friday) and sometimes you get to pick up a bit of good advice now and then ( not from scrimmy though).....its all good.....and believe it or not...there are OTHER forums outside of CIU......like (cant say) 8).....long live the forums...for now anyway :)

forums are great. i would be lost without load sof the info i have got on here as CM has said. Also i use car forums and they are great also

scfc as a great games section , at the end of the day we all use a few diffrent forums thats life .

so whats the best forums ?
i like ciu , scfc , acs , window pros , 4x4 forums , tattoo forums theres loads out there but scfc is cool for the games lounge .

i like scsf.co.uk as being part of the team i think the general vibe is fairly laid back and down to earth with no real snipes! and that i am king of bullseye on the games lounge to ;D

will take you on steve on sunday for king of bullseye on scfc , i love space invaders on scfc but it dont record the score and after 22 levels its a bit of a sickner but im sure scfc will sort it soon .

Scsf is great, helpfull and friendly, with some banter but not personal.
Acs is good aswell IMO

Like i said mate, some just aint friendly. scsf has the advise without some one telling me i'm wrong
