im getting frustrated now!gets to work this morning and its hammering it down.pour a bit of my flask out.still bad an hour later(10 am)gettin ped off now.then it stops so i get ready and clean 2 houses then a custy comes out and asks me to clear the back gutter out of the small back conservatory fo r him.says no!got too much work on!(nearly 2 wks behind now :-\)anyway he seems a bit upset(old man about 80!)so i relent and say a tenner and ill do it now before i clean his windows.gets round the back and its really hammering down.takes 15 mins to empty gutter.by now im soaked to the bone and he makes a brew.sit in his conservatory and spill the water out of my b.o.b all over his sofa as well as muddy footprints on carpet.half hour later its still relentless rain so i pack up and put some cheques in the bank and pay some bills at the post office.home now and sun just come out yet its still raining hard and cold!!.rant over! :( :(

WFP-ers should bear in mind that a very few years ago the water companies did their best to ban us from using our equipment. They failed, but managed to get the regulations changed to make it far more likely they will succeed in the event of another drought.
While we have this rain, that evil day is kept at bay ::)
-
NO POINT HAVING THE EQUIPMENT AND NOT BEIN ABLE TO USE IT!!im trad for now so bring on the hot,dry drought weather!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

very true, picked up some new customers this week..
"my window cleaner has stopped/disappeared, do you work during the winter?"
I have to work in the rain, but a number of my custies dont mind - as im always on time now and reliable.
If they dont want it done, i'll tell them i see them next month when im round again.
-
there is no way any of u would have worked in the rain up here today.torrential for most of the day!!impossible to clean in that without making a mess of the windows!
-
absolute rubbish that ur always on time and reliable unless uv got a very small round!of course i do work in the rain but not when its torrential like todays or when its gale force winds.also its short days so how can u possibly get round on time every time?some of u on here sound very smug or deluded ;D
