Post by: Ste M on November 25, 2009, 11:09:01 am
How long is your hose on your WFP? not sure wether to get the 100m or 60m, dont want to buy the 60m and then wish id bought the other, so do you find that you can complete loads of compact work with a 60 or should i bite the bullit an just buy the 100m?

Cheers ste

Most of the time i would say that 60m is fine but there is always a job or street where you need to reel in and move the van where the extra 40m would have come in handy

go for 100m ste

If you are picking up your hosereel in and out of the van all day you'll be better off with 60m, I don't struggle at all and I even go up alleys to bottom of gardens along the back of 2 houses then in to the one I'm cleaning.
Depends what you houses are like, if you only need more than 60m occasionally then buy the 100m cut it off at 60m the put connectors on the 40m hose and this could be coupled up if you ever needed it ;)

Exactly what I would do.

I got a 60m hose and 100m hose and 9.9x I use the 60m

i would go with the 100 m as you never know what new jobs you may pick up and it would be a pain if you needed it in future.

ive just got mine from alex (gardiners) alot to reel in if you had it all out but its better to have too much i guess.

Bought 100m and found it heavy and reduced to 80 metres. Then fixed it in the van. Sprung a few leaks in year 3 so put it back on the other way around and cut off about another 10 metres and will get another one with 100m on it and fix it in the van.

Had it 4 and a half years now.

100M here too, 60M wouldn't be enough on a fair bit of my work
