Title: brinton loop 100% wool

Got a job booked in for next week on brinton loop
The customer asked which method i would be using as she has been advised to turn brushes off even when vacuuming.
It is the tightest loop i have seen could this be risky to clean with my Sebo and host powder.
Would appreciate any advice.

Most good mills such as Brintons advise against brushes on wool loop and with good reason so I think Host is a no go.  Also avoid rotary cleaning (RX20 or Rotovac) and rotary buffing (although Dry Fusion may make some claims).

I stick to hot water extraction with a wand.  Be careful with areas needing agitation such as filtration lines of difficult spots.

Shaun,
I had a Bell twist shrink on me once and all I did was prespray, fortunately I restretched it when dry but refused to clean it for obvious reasons.
I have had problems with this carpet over the years, it's got to the stage, if I consider it to be too soiled I refuse to clean.
Anybody else had problems.

Chris,

Best results I've had on these is with pre-spray gold, dwell and extract. Nice and safe and not a bad result either.

Never had a problem of that sorts with Brintons but it depends on the fitting the amount of pre spray etc etc etc.
