Anybody got some suitable wording for a Rain Guarantee? I have always just written it on the payment slip but with the current weather I need to print off an actual gurantee. Got called back to one last week, the weather had been torrential rain when I cleaned them but on the recall I discovered the windows to be perfect, except for a bird poo on the kitchen window which happened after my call, hence the call back!

"English weather is unpredictable, but our customers don't like unpredictable service. To make sure we always call to you as regularly as possible we have invested in the latest PURE WATER cleaning technology which allows us to work in the rain without affecting the dazzling results our customers have come to expect. The same "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" applies in the rain as in the dry. If you're not happy just call us within 24 hours, and we'll re-clean free of charge."

add to that, all we ask is that you check the problem is not on the inside before calling.

Love it!
Here's mine - but after reading the above I might change it.
Dear Customer - a note from your window cleaner ...
As you are aware we try to provide a regular service and keep to a reasonably predictable schedule; however with more customers than ever before and especially during the winter months with inclement weather and "shorter" days, it can be a bit of a juggling act getting the balance between arriving on time and not cleaning in really bad weather.
To preserve schedules we clean not only in fine weather but in drizzly or showery conditions too. Please be assured that the purified water system which (unlike the previous method used) contains no soapy residues ensures that your windows remain clean despite any rain from squally showers that may land on the glass in the ensuing day or two.
However in the rare event that you feel convinced that the rain immediately following within 24 hours of our visit contained pollution residue that has obviously marked your glass then please do not hesitate to call us back and we will gladly clean the offending window(s) again.

"Dear Customer,
If you stop me cleaning because it's raining, you will be dumped.
Thank you for your custom."

No one has ever taken me up on mine - but if they are in generally they will say they dont want the windows done.
Doesn't matter what guarantee you give some people never change their opinions of rain cleaning.
Spoke to one custy the other day - he said he didn't mind me cleaning in the rain. He was happy to have them being done regularly! (he had past problems with local cleaners ripping him off)

I wanted to put that, but thought it was a little harsh

I had one last Friday saying don't clean then today as it's going to rain, at the time it was sunny with blue skies ::) Probably just wanted them done nearer to Christmas.... Unfortunately I won't be able to make it again as I'm too busy ;D
